M A L O R I E .

Who am I? Honestly, I think I am still learning who I am.

See the thing is...

I continue to evolve and change. I can tell you that after graduating from Howard University, the race was on! I began my two decade “rat race.” Although, I was brought up in a home where I saw my mom own her own businesses, I honestly never thought entrepreneurship was for me. I was content with my 6-figure income, laptop and staff of 12. Or so I thought. It was not long before my month was getting longer and longer while my money was getting shorter and shorter.

Somewhere in there, I managed to marry the love of my life and have two beautiful and really remarkable daughters. We are a blended family of 4, plus our fur baby, Grayson.

I’ll never forget it.  It was the fall of 2011. It was as if I had been bitten. I was bitten. It wasn’t  a Florida monster mosquito that bit me that time. It was the entrepreneurship bug. Since that time, I have owned a few businesses.  Through every trial, obstacle and failure, I would not change a thing. I have learned so much over the last 7 years. Stepping out and starting your own business is in part about the money and freedom but can I just tell you what you gain as an individual is priceless. I am stronger than I think I am.

If you get anxiety on Sunday nights from the thought of going to work on Monday. If you live for the weekends because your J.O.B is all you have time for during the week. If you have to use personal days just to get a mental health day, doctor’s appointments and run errands, we should chat. Let’s create a lifestyle that you don’t need a vacation from. There is a better way. I promise you that. It will require that you find, grow and activate your faith muscle. You are not waiting on God, God is waiting on you. Take a leap of faith!
